I love to write poetry and inspirational messages. It feels good when people say "thank you for writing that article, it changed my life." The gratification that I received from touching someone's heart is addictive. It makes me want to continue to touch the lives of so many others. So I challenge all that come across this article to help someone out side of your family to see what it truly feels like to help a perfect stranger.
I’m stuck in winter’s chilly grip,
Oh how I long for fall,
Where leaves are plenty, and the
Sky holds me in bluest thrall.
But the snow holds tight throughout
The day, with many an icy bar,
And makes me wish for the green of
May, where the trees are never far,
Where the breeze it carries playful
Tunes, on gentle, whispering arms,
Instead of gusting forcefully
With its angry, violent charms.
My heart it yearns for a summers
Night, which does not come ’til late,
Where the only sounds alive are the
Crickets rustling ’neath the gate.
But here I’m trapped, in Winter’s Palace,
With the dullest of gray for my eye.
Oh, how I pine for the dew on the grass,
Not the dreary white snow from the sky.

It's always a blessing to read poetry that someone else has created. However, when children find an opportunity to take time out of their busy schedule to remember a day that has been designated for mothers and write in the remembrance as what this means to them. It is truly wonderful. Below is a 12 year old who has decided to start writing and it is my pleasure to post one of her first poems on this Blog.

Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is a gift from God for all the
Mothers who gave birth to his children.
Mother’s Day is the day for the children to
thank their mother for all the love and
support they gave them.
Mother’s Day is the day for mothers to rest
and have peace. Mother’s Day is
the day for
mothers to get off their feet. Mother’s
Day is
for mothers to sit back and relax. Mother’s Day
is for all the fathers to do what the mothers do.
Mother’s Day; boy do I love Mother’s Day.

Sharing A Talent With The World
Sharing short stories and poetry is so fulfilling. There is a great deal of satisfaction when I hear how my stories or poetry has touched someone's heart or made them think about their life as it is today.

Through The Eyes

Be Thou conformed By The Renewing Of The Spoken Word.
She
smiled with the essence of
beauty
radiating sunshine.
Her
scent is as a bouquet of
roses
integrated with tulips blooming
in the spring time.
Her
eyes, oh how they shine and are like the
golden
chariots of Heaven displaying
the
treasures of her spirit and soul.
With the voice of an angelic tonality
that
has you intently
listening when she utters simplistic
words
of joy which are like music
to
your ears.
She
is a woman strategically created
to
enhance our atmosphere.
Our purpose is to love her,
treat
her with dignity and respect.
I'm consumed by her wisdom that
God
has blessed her with.
She
is with out a doubt a virtuous woman.
rare
gem in a world of torn
reality,
as her path is straight.
A woman with confidence and direction,
A
woman with confidence and direction,
she is a woman who
loves
being a woman and enjoys
the
essence of an intelligent man,
after
all she deserves it and nothing less.
Who
will love her for who she
truly
is and will
not
hinder her beauty but
accommodate
it at best.
She
is the mother of blessings.
She
is the mother of wisdom,
the
mother of love, a wonderful gift from above.
Love
is not blind it's embracing
the
very essence of a
woman's
core values, her virtue, her intelligence,
her
nurturing nature and
with
age her valued lessons.
A
woman, what a blessing!
